If the ref hadn't stopped the Mossley v Maygora fight when he did would Maygora have been "saved by the bell?"
Just wondering...... does it depend on whichever body is sanctioning the bout?

he wouldnt have been i dont think, i have not known a recent fight were a fighter could be saved by the bell in any round, i know in Vegas it is never the case anyway

Never seen a title fight that lets a fighter be saved by bell in any round.
Depends where the fight is held, it's either saved by the Bell in any round, saved by the Bell in the last round only or the saved by the Bell rule is not in effect.
It usually depends on the state rules. I think most states have the "save by the bell in any round but the last round" rule.
