its on boxingscene, says sources from Disney, who own ESPN, are going to drop Wednesday Night Fights next year and focus only on Friday Night Fights.

Says the one good thing is they might have more of a budget for Friday Night Fights. Hopefully but it could be BS, will believe it when I see it, might just save the money or spend it on something else. Who knows?

You would hope that they would get at least a signifigant increase for FNF, if not just the entire funding which would probably be a good move. How often do you really see two fights worth a damn on ESPN in the same week?

True, if they do markedly increase the quality of FNF then I could deal with it.

Wednesday Night Fights was fun sometimes but lets don't forget there was a bunch of nights where it was like, are they really televising this? Nationally?

There's no talk of FNF being cancelled.

That sucks. What are they going to do, add more bowling and girl's softball? The best sport on the planet and f#cking ESPN would rather show cars running around a track in cirlces. I'm starting my own t.v. sports network
