    Default Vic Darchiniyan =#1 p4p

For all of you Vic haters out there you need to really look at what this man has done. He not only talked a good game, he actually backed it up. So many boxers out there today say theyre going to do this and that but never come close to doing what they say. Thats why we really need to commmend this man. At his press conference he clearly stated he would put Mijares in the hospital, knock him out and make him look like a foolish boxer, and thats what he did. We need to realize this man is the #1 p4p fighter today. I dont see anyone beating Vic between 112 -122

What not even the man who knocked him out cold just about 4 fights ago?

seriously man, get his d$ck out of your mouth...

on what planet does knocking out mijares make you the p4p #1?
let him avenge the knockout, and put some weight on and fight marquez or vazquez, which ever will give him the time of day, and then the man your verbally giving fellatio could be included in the discussion.

until then remember the golden rule: bias doesn't equal relevance.

Is this thread serious? I guess Darchiniyan's fans support the same mentality of the fighter..

Has there every been a #1 P4P fighter KO'd as badly and as recently as Vic was against Donaire?

I'm not taking anything away from Vic. He looked very good last night and he's much improved fighter. I give him a ton of credit for improving his defense as much has he has. Still, if Mijares had an ounce of power, Vic might have been in some trouble because he looked pretty gassed at the end. Props to him for fighting through the fatigue and finishing Mijares.

If he rematches Nonito and beats him, I'll slide him onto my list at 9 or 10. That's probably not going to happen, though, with an Arce fight being more lucrative.

The real question is: does vic crack the top 10 pound for pound by knocking out a someone who was in the top ten?

yea thats pretty much it, he could be number 10 if that. it depends on what place Mijares was in before he lost.

IMO: No, but if he were to beat Donaire in a rematch, he would be hard to overlook.

HAHA good point. Hartley just had too much of everything for Zelenoff.

He clearly has a bias against the Heavyweight's.Why no "King of the 4 rounders" Champ Butterbean. He has to have held that title for at least 8+ years .......

He is at 7. If not for inactivity he'd be higher.
Butterbean is good, he beat Peter Mcneeley, went the distance with Larry Holmes, and had a high KO %.......

Definitely not p4p 1. But i cant believe some of the lack of credit going around in this thread. Most everyone said vic would get his ears boxed off and would be made to look amateur. Mijares was boxings next big superstar, a master boxer, the man dominate the division...then vic came and knocked him the fuck out. So wheres his credit, im pretty sure alot of guys on this forum had mijares in their top 10 so how come vic doesnt jump in there? Won titles in two weight divisions, now undisputed champion, had unified in his last division. So one loss takes that all away does it?
