Looked good, but Monte is a midget compare to the Klitschko mountains.
Don't know how that low left hand will fair against a Klitschko straight right![]()
"I take good care of my people. I like to inflict permanent psychological damage."
I think Haye has mentally got to Wlad and thats the only reason Vitali is involved why else would Vitali get involved?
I think thats clutching at straws a little. If Haye is so good, he can beat up Vitali and then go for Wlad!
Haye performed well, but like I stated elsewhere he did nothing more or less than expected. He was facing a guy who is generally regarded as something of a journeyman who has failed to step it up at the top level each time. Just last year Barrett was stopped in two. He was ordered for Haye to look "spectacular" against.
I want to see Haye fight a proper fighter, and I think the next logical move would be a fight with Toney. If Toney can beat Thompson, it would be an intriguing matchup. And the winner of that perhaps gets a crack at the belt.
If Haye can destroy Toney, I will stand up and take some notice. I think Toney would counter him to death though. Still, would be a good fight to make.
It's more then clutching straws.
If Haye starts throwing wild like that when he has either Wladimer or Vitali hurt if he does then he is going to get knocked out.
Biased announcing saying Barrett is naughty for hitting Haye when he was down when Haye almost did it to Barret the round before
David Haye vs James Toney, the tickets for the press conference will sale more tickets then the fight.
One reason could be that Wlad already has a scheduled fight...I think Haye picked on Wlad for a reason but in all honesty I doubt he can exploit it. I think Vitali may have seen the fight just to scout Haye for Wladimir as Wlad is more than likely deep in training camp.
I can assure everyone Haye wants nothing to do with Vitali and very little to do with Wlad especially at this stage in his career.
I think a fight vs James Toney would tell us a lot about Haye. Either he can control himself and be smart or he can be Frank Bruno and go for a KO that isn't there, tire himself out, and get humiliated.
Other interesting matchups: Lamon Brewster, Sultan Ibragimov, Jameel McCline, Andrew Golota, Tony Thompson, Ray Austin, Juan Carlos Gomez, Eddie Chambers, Michael Sprott, Matt Skelton, Cedric Boswell, Dominick Guinn. And I would like to see him fight those guys because I want to see him handle good boxers with solid chins, counter punchers, or good boxer punchers....he will need to be able to adapt to different styles to compete with Wlad and Vitali.
