Good, hopefully this makes him get his ass back in the right for a showdown with one of the many deserving opponents in line to face him.

Yeah, he will most likely get in the ring now.

Just cos he owes the tax i doubt hes broke, guys who earn millions pay their taxes as late as possible so the money gains intrest so unless he has legal fees he's doing a standard thing

But that's still 6.2 million dollars he had to pay.

Exactly. What I found more ridiculous is that he trash talked about all the money he had while standing besides Oscar De La Hoya . ODLH will make more money than ANY boxer out there even when he's retired.

"Money" Mayweather? Maybe sooner or later he will change his nickname to "Debt" Mayweather.

The kicker is,depending on how late he is....they'll likely get him double that in penalties & interest.

No surprise here. Floyd throws money around like a fool. He has no clue how to manage his money and will end up broke. Floyd's always tried to impress everyone he comes in contact with. Now he hangs with other millionaires so to impress them he has to throw away some serious coin.

He needs to grow up and become comfortable with himself as a man. He has so much to be proud of, but he thinks its all about the money. Floyd, you are one of the best fighters of our generation and have some great kids who love you. Who the hell cares who is or isn't impressed with you. Get back in the Ring and set things straight by beating Margarito and then Pacman and then save your money so you don't go broke again and have to come out of retirement when you're in your late 30s and no longer the best.

Well although I doubt very much that this will come anywhere close to bankrupting him it may drag him out of retirement and back into the ring, which to me is the best place for him because love him or hate him he is the best fighter in the world at the minute.
