Default Fights you would hate to see in 2009

Theres a few rumors of future fights out there that would really kill the high we are riding out there in terms of matchmaking my list in no particular order is as follows:

    Hatton V PBF
    Arreola V either Klitchko
    Margarito V Pac
DLH V anyone except Chavez Jr. to pass the torch
Mayorga V any top 10 fighter
    Tarver V Dawson II
Bowe V Holyfield IV (they both had fights within a month of each other)
    RJJ V anyone
    Trinidad V anyone

Im sure Ill have more. What are yours?
    The key is Self-discipline.

Yeah, Hatton-PBF II would make no sense to me. I'd hate to see Hopkins-Calzaghe II also because the first fight was really frustrating and a clash of styles. I'm not really interested in seeing ODLH vs Hatton either. I don't want to really watch Dawson-Tarver II but I don't mind it. Tarver was competitve in most parts of the first fight and I felt that Chad was cruising a little too much at times and Tarver was pressing most of the action. Maybe now on HBO in front of a bigger audience, Chad will wanna close the show.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Bowe-Holyfield IV. You know what? I think it would be nostalgic and a decent fight too. Like I said in a previous post, it might be the best heavyweight action in years hahahaha.

Tarver was competitive? Is that what we call taking punches with no retaliation these days?

Unmeaningful fights at Junior Flyweight and Minimumweight. If these fighters want to be taken seriously, the best are gunna have to start fighting the best because you get sick of seeing world champions fighting tomato can after tomato can just to pad out a record.

Well, it looks like Mayweather-Hatton is on just about everybody's no thankyou list. It won't matter if it's at 147 or 140. They're not in the same league. Easy money for Floyd. If Floyd is going to fight, I'd much rather see him up against someone who has half a chance. The only Floyd I want to see is against a top WW, otherwise stay retired.

I don't want to see Povetkin-Klitschko. I think that's going to be a blowout. Povetkin was anything but impressive when he beat Chambers. Well, save for his 'heart'. But he wouldn't have needed so much 'heart' had he had stamina.

Tarver vs - Dawson 2 seems a little pointless to me . Its not as if it was close. I duno why light heavies have to beat each other twice.

Floyd - Hatton 2 seems just about the money . Floyd would do his rep no good coming back for that fight . If Hatton beats Pac however then it will give it more meaning and he will deserve a return

Oscar vs Pac 2 - Another fight that was so one sided that the only need for a return would be money. Oscar can fight a guy like Chavez JNR cuz thats his level now and it has meaning but Pac should go onto bigger and better things cuz theres nothing mpore to gain in fighting Oscar and everything to lose.

Calzaghe vs Jones 2 - I havent heard any recent talk of this but during and after their fight there was talk of a millenium stadium farewell fight with Jones in the opposite corner. With Joe taking his time to make up his mind, it suggests he wont retire and with the available opponents I would be disapointed if it is Jones again .

Any fight involving DLH, Bowe, Valuev, Jones or any other corpse or person pretending to still be a fighter.
