Passed my driving test....

Passed it this morning...the only day the test centre was open as well due to the snow here. I was really nervous this morning...but all the practising paid off.

I done really well, probabbly my best drive...got reversing into a bay and 3 point turn to do, done both fine. Examiner was a total twat, wouldnt talk or anything.

I'm fucking made up....I'm going to drive solo the first time tonight to work in my Mum's car. Can't wait. Then I'm picking my new car up next week.

So you do one test and can drive? Here it is a graduated system. First year you can't drive after dark, or without a full licence person in the car or on freeways. Then you have to retest to be able to drive alone.

You do a theory/hazard perception test on a computer. You have to pass this to take your practical. I got 100% on this.

You have ONE practical test. The Practical consists of a 40 minute drive with two maneuvers included. Obviously an examiner is marking you, if you do one major fault or more than 15 small faults (minors) you fail.

If you pass that then you're free to drive on your own, on the motorway (Freeway) and at whatever time.

So yeah...I can do what I want with my car

I swear this is why I failed my first time. My tester was sitting in the passenger seat,guys at least a foot shorter then me. I pull up,and look both ways at a t intersection,he failed me because he couldnt see to the left even though I could,hand to god

I bought an old car but didn't really need to use it. I used public transport for "work" and everywhere i went after that drank booze.. eventually after a while I forgot all about the driving. Crazy a?

here in seattle, we have metro buses, trains, monorails, taxi, boats...when gas prices goes back up those are my options
