Default FightNews ranked PAC as no. 1 boxer at 140 lbs.

    ..... .....

FightNews might be anticipating the result of PAC-Hatton fight on May 2, 2009 and they already installed PAC as the man at 140 this early...

There are now 2 boxing rankings orgs that ranked PAC as the man at 140 lbs., FightNews and Boxrec...

As early as December 2008 Boxrec already installed PAC as the no. 1 boxer at 140...

Pacman is the P4P king right now without a doubt. But to instill him as number 1 at 140 before hes got past Hatton is quite insulting to Ricky.

I hope they take him down a peg once Hattons smashed his ribcage in.

He's number 2 for me, until Ricky is beaten 140, he remains The Man at light-welter

    .. .. ..

FightNews and BoxRec ranking PAC as the no. 1 at 140 lbs. tells a lot about the upcoming PAC vs. Hatton fight...

Vegas oddsmakers are also in agreement with these rankings since they have PAC as a 2 to 1 favorite to smash Hatton...

Those who find these rankings insulting to Ricky, maybe you can write a protest letter to FightNews and BoxRec... There's a possibility that an error was made in these rankings...

    Just a suggestion tho...

Boxrec also has Manny ranked #5 P4P behind
    BHOP
    JMM
    VIC
    and BCD.

Anyway Mighty Mike is clearly the top fighter at 140, and Pac is avoiding him like the plague!

Boxrec rankings are just generated by computer so obviously understandable if they fuck up, although I really can't understand how a computer can calculate a defeat to Calzaghe puts Hopkins ahead of Manny with a win over Marquez but I digress.

The fightnews ranking is just retarded though. How can Manny be ranked in a weight class he hasn't fought in, much less ranked as number 1?

He should be ranked either in the lightweight or welterweight category right now, either number 2 in the lightweights behind Marquez, or around number 5 at welterweight behind the belt holders and Cotto.

Rank him at light welter only AFTER he's fought there.

Its absurd to rank any fighter at a weight he has never fought. Also very disrespectful to Hatton, a guy who has the titles at that weight and fought most of his career at. Pac electively vacated his lightweight belt to fight a non title fight at welterweight with Oscar. Pac is not a champion right now and he is not the best in a particular division right now. Its not even arguable.

Imagine how excited Saddoboxer will be when he sees this

Anyway, this kind of stuff, it just doesn't annoy me anymore, I am out of outrage, I find it absolutely hilarious when people compain about the WBO or IBF or whoever's rankings, they've rated dead people before, come on now, how is there any outrage left.

I guess fightnews should be better, I get that, still wake me up later.
