    Default Fnf 4/3/09

    Welcome back kiddies

Tonight from the Pepsi Pavillion in Memphis, TN: Randall Bailey and Franky Figeroa, square off in an IBF eliminator match.

Randall Bailey 38-6 (34 KOs) coming in at 34 years old, comes in on the heels of his October showdown against Corley both men threw a ton of punches, but as the fight went on it was clear Bailey's were actually landing. Both guys finished strong in a very good match.
    Stats:
    Height: 5' 9" /Stance: Orthodox/Official weight: 139 3/4 lbs.

Franky Figeroa 20-2 (13 KOs) his last match was in November at MSG against Drunken Master Emmanual Augustus. Augustus has been an issue for anyone, but equal measure Figeroa being unable to adapt, and Augustus returning to classic form left a very close decision on the table.
    Stats:
    Height: 5' 6" /Stance: Southpaw/Official weight: 139 1/2 lbs.

Even though Figeroa is the younger of the two at 30, I think the vastly superior experience and workrate of Bailey wins the day. I would go so far as to saying Bailey by late TKO.

    On the undercard:
Undefeated Mark Davis faces Steve Gonzalez in a Lightweight match 8 rounds in duration.

Heavyweight Cedric Boswell tries to get his 29th victory 3 months before his 40th birthday against kill or be killed Harold Sconiers
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Sweet, this means it can't roll over into boxing time.
