    Default Ordinary World Titles??

Not only have we 100's of weights to deal with and sanctioning Bodies to each weight but now we have found Ordinary World Titles to add to the confusion.

What is going on with these people who run boxing, don't they realise that this is not what boxing needs.

What we DO need is less champions.....the world of boxing champions are so diluted that even the die hard boxing fan can't keep up with all this madness.

Please please please SORT IT OUUUTTTT!!!!

It's a bit stupid really. I don't even pay attention anymore as everyone has a belt these days. Just about names that perform well for me, it's nigh on impossible to keep up with these beltholders!!

3 titles every weight gives the top 30 a title shot.....add the Ordinary title into the spin and you get the top 60 a title shot....it gets silly. I also don't take much notice of titles....titles are meaningless while this sort of thing continues. I take note of the caliber of fights and fighter. Unfortunatley while the ORDINARY punter keeps buying tickets to the undeservered challenger these titles will keep coming along.....BUT the true fans know that titles mean nothing unless a TRUE fighter is defending against a WORTHY contender.

The Ring Magazine Champion has always been recognized at the true champion. The trend now days is to ignor the alphabet titles and simply refer to The Ring/lineal titles. See: Brian Kenny, Max Kellerman, ESPN boxing, and Dan Rafael.

I think that the WBA should just give belts like in kung fu.

    Black belt champ,
    Green belt champ,
    Yellow belt champ

    etc.....
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
