    Default Haye v Arreola anybody?

To be honest I think this would be a logical fight. And the winner should set up nicely to get Bitchsko. Would also end this bullshit about Haye needing more fights in the division.

I got Haye beating the fat man in a few rounds.

    Your thoughts ?

Why not? It would be a decent matchup and to be honest I think Haye needs a little more time to get set at heavyweight. Arreola is a big fatty and I think Haye beats him quite handily. Unless Arreola manages to land big.

That's the problem. But I can't see Arreola even landing much. He's slow and carrying about 30 pounds excess baggage. Sure he has power, but you actually need to land first. Haye's speed will just destory him.

Haye should be too sharp for him. I haven't been all that impressed with Arreola TBH. He can bang but seems very sloppy. He's right there for Haye to shoot at and move around. Haye should stay busy rather than have another extended layoff.

Looks more like David Tua to me. But Arreola carries similar busty substances upon his manly form.

I think Haye can win easy if he were to box and move BUT I can see Haye coming in wild and open to try and press the action and score a quick knockout and look impressive.....Arreola has very fast hands, and a decent beard (enough to get him past at least a few of Haye bombs) and is willing to trade and bang so I could see Haye getting hit with some big shots in this fight.....

I think it is a great fight and if Haye can look impressive it would get him alot of press in the US....

Would definately be a good match up, maybe enough to silence some of the doubters at least, who say he hasn't beat enough credible names, etc. Only problem is we would probably have to wait a few more months for it, due to promotion, venue, etc... so maybe looking at a sep fight, by that time Wlad will already be looking towards his next opponent.

As long as haye boxed sensibly he`d run rings around arreola and probably stop him within 7.

Is there really any money in fighting arreola though?? despite the fact he is still unbeaten he looks like the kind of bloke who wouldnt be lost outside a KFC tucking into a bargain bucket while knocking back a pint of tennants premium at 11.15 in the morning

I think this is a pick 'em fight....David Haye and Cris Arreola are a lot alike, they CAN box, they choose to mix it up a bit more and both have suffered the consequences of that decision (knockdowns and in Haye's case a KO loss) but it would be an exciting and telling fight.

Haye should also consider: Alex Povetkin, Odlanier Solis (Olympic Finals Rematch), and even some of the older fighters Sam Peter, John Ruiz, Lamon Brewster, Ray Austin, Fres Oquendo. They aren't at the top of the heap but it would show us more of what Haye has and I think he could have a relatively easy go vs those guys

    i am numero-uno anti haye

But c`mon haye is bigger, faster, stronger, quicker - unless he decided to completely abandon his style and slug it out with arreola he wins every day of the week!!

What are you talking about bigger faster stronger? Arreola is 6'4 and was 255 in his last fight, granted he wasn't in shape but he's pretty big and he has fast hands when he puts punches together.

so by that logic if arreola spent the next 2months in mcdonalds and bulked up to 375 he would absoloutely crush haye??

I dont particularly rate haye but i sure as hell dont think he`ll come up short against a guy who struggled agains travis walker!!
