Is there any truth to this? or is the fight just not selling well.

Yeah I just read about it. Apparently Floyd injured his rib. The fight is still far away though. WTF?
The fight was selling well for being a month away. Everything was right on track, plus the 24/7 would have built it up even more. More ticket's being sold, and more PPV buys. Fucking Floyd.![]()

This really sucks, I was very much looking forward to this fight. Hopefully it's only put off for a couple of weeks.
I dont buy it. How come it seems like every time there is a great fight on HBO Floyd announces something. Pac-Hatton, his comeback....Cotto-Clottey, his injury and postponed comeback. Give me a break. He wants it all to be about him. I think this an attempt for the public to get more interest in the fight by pushing it back. I mean they just previewed the 24/7 last night. Hopefully im wrong and thee is some legitamacy to this, but again the timing points to Floyd trying to steal the limelight.

The fight is being postponed due to a rib injury mayweather has incurred. Gutted about this. was really looking forward to it.. don't know how long it's being put back by...
that sucks, to many fights are being cancelled or posponed lately
WTF another fight delayed/postponed!? That's BS hopefully, this fight will only be delayed two or three weeks.
I wonder if this has to do with slow ticket sales. If it was because he was injured, I would expect the injury to be on his wrists since he has hurt his wrists before.
Now what will I do with my tickets?![]()

The highly anticipated July 18 fight between Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez has been postponed due to a rib injury sustained by Mayweather while training. The mega-fight was scheduled to take place at MGM Grand in Las Vegas and be televised live on HBO Pay-Per-View.
"I am extremely disappointed that this fight has to be postponed," said Mayweather. "I was training very hard and looking forward to getting back in the ring on July 18th... Full Boxing Article here...
Not another one!
the fight wasnt selling, and after seeing clottey completely dominate cotto at certain points of last nights fight i think mayweather may have the confidence to fight him, and that would be a money fight
