Junior Witter

Junior's fight has gone largely under the radar.
Not surprising as the guy seems to inspire the least interest of all the high level UK boxers.

I've never been a huge Witter fan and have even expressed great dislike for him at times, because of his media tactics. However having thought about it, I'd greatly like to see him regain a championship and receive a little appreciation.

He may not be a great fighter, but he is good and a positive individual.

I'll be shouting for him from now on.

Tough fight for him at this stage of his career. He'll need a KO to win.

Don't think he'll have much success on Saturday, story of 2 fighters going in 2 different directions with their career. Alexander is legit and will win imo.

I see what you mean with this one donny...with Hatton about for Witter to constantly rant on about, he antagonised a lot of people including me, who took a dislike to him. Now that Hatton's gone, and he's still not getting much attention, I kind of feel sorry for him. He's a decent boxer, and we'll see how he comes out of this one on Saturday.

Lord knows Britain needs another champion after the exodus of belts from these shores!

I hope Witter wins just to hear the excuses from Warren/Khan and Hatton why they will not fight him.

I think Witter was offered the Khan fight when Kotelnik originally pulled out.. it was obviously ultra short notice and he had this WBC shot lined up.

Be interesting if Witter gets offered Khan again should he win. I would bet not.
