Like I said I wish these small Heavyweights would fight each other.
Chambers, Arreola, Haye, they should all be fighting each other instead of moving up to get beat by the Klits. Wladimer will have a 50 pound weight advantage on Chambers
Both of them don't stand a chance with Klitschko, he's better than them and far bigger.
I figured as much, Povetkin needs some warm up fights, yeah maybe more than one.
As far as I can tell, no matter how big of an underdog Eddie Chambers is, he's the best prepared for Wladimir. He destroyed Alexander Dimitrenko a guy who has Wlad's old trainer and similar height and reach, and he beat Sam Peter fairly easy, and he has lots of power.
I think Wladmir will wreck Eddie Chambers much as he did to Chris Byrd or Calvin Brock. Eddie is going to learn that #1 it's extremely hard to counter Wladimir due to size, strength, speed, and skill #2 The power he's going to have to absorb will be stronger and more accurate than ever.
I think Chambers throws really crisp shots and has good snap to his punches and I think his power was underrated for a while (he's not Chris Byrd) but isn't it a bit of a stretch to say he has lots of power Lyle?
When I said "and he has lots of power" the 'he' I was reffering to was Sam Peter, not Eddie Chambers....sorry for the misunderstanding.
Chris Byrd had sharpish counters, he could flurry, Eddie has NEVER flurried to my knowledge
imo Chasmbers has earned it more based on recent performances over Peter & Dimitrenko, as opposed to Povetkin's last 2 over Sykes & Estrada. I know Povetlin has the win over Eddie but at the end of the day like most here are saying: it doesn't matter who's 1st both are getting taken out by Wlad!!!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
My issue with this is, as a Klitschko fan I know full well Wladimir will not get immediate and he possibly won't get any future respect for having beaten either or both of these fighters.
Alex Povetkin is the Russian David Haye, he's been hyped up beyond belief and I think the first right cross Wlad lands on him will drop him.
Eddie Chambers is feisty and very talented, but he's small and doesn't have the power to stop Wlad, the size to bother Wlad, or the skill/chin to decision Wlad. Eddie thinks he will be able to stand infront of Wlad with his guard up and counter....and well we've never seen anyone do that and be successful, because Wlad is strong, has a great jab, and will ultimately slap that guard down and drop a right cross over it.
Wlad is EXPECTED to get 2 brutal KO's fighting these guys, anything less will be a huge disappointment. What I personally expect is Wlad KO Povetkin in 2, Wlad will KO Chambers in 4-6
Well I guess I will have to be the Devil's advocate and pick Chambers to KO Klitschko. Whichever Klit he ends up fighting.
