Complete bullshit IMO. Dante Stallworth gets less than a month for killing a man while driving drunk, Vick gets less than Burress for torturing and killing an unknown number of living creatures, and Burress takes a plea deal and gets two years in jail for accidentally shooting himself? Fucking ridiculous.

I want the gun laws to be strict, good for them.

I'm not gonna say I was an attorney in the Stallworth case but from what I've read he hit a guy who was jay walking, as far as I know that was the deal, causation, that it was determined that a sober driver could have hit the guy too and that the victim played an important role in the whole thing. That and he reported it and everything, didn't pull a hit and run. Stallworth from everything I've heard would have gotten off if it had gone to trial.

Now if you want to say Vick should have gotten more I won't argue much but the gun control laws need to be strictly enforced IMO.

It depends a lot of the state you're in when the offense occurs, N.Y is quite a tough one on the gun issue, Plax was just in the bad state at the wrong moment for that kind of offense.

Plax isn't a smart man....yeah let me carry around an unlicensed gun IN PUBLIC and then accidentally shoot myself in the leg. IMO he got 1 year for the shooting incident and 1 year for being an absolute dumbass!
