Default If Pac Man and Mayweather fight, what weight should it be at.

The two best pound for pound fighters in close weight devisions have a chance of fighting each other if they beat their opponents in upcoming matches. What weight should they fight at.
I would like to see them fight at light welterweight. If they fight at welterweight it would give Mayweather too much of an advantage. Will he go down a devision or play it safe at his comfort weight.
Also does anyone know what weight Mayweather and Marces will be fighting at?

140lbs!!Pacman will be fine at that weight, just take in account what he did to Hatton!I'll say that it'll be the hardest fight Mayweather will ever have against Pacman. It'll be close.I hope it happens!

147 IMO like the Cotto fight should have been. Screw catchweights

I dont think there will be a problem at having this fight at 147 Mayweather is a natural 140 lb fighter, Roach wont bitch about the weight for this fight if it did happen.

160lbs. And they should wear 22oz gloves.

Whatever the weight/gloves/ring size.. Mayweather will be very very sorry. Then again.. this fight will not happen until Pac is past it, if at all. We all know PBF would never fight someone at their weight and in their prime.

    147.

Floyd walks around in the 150s and never has a problem making weight. Making him come down to 145 isn't going to give Pac any advantage because Floyd will make the weight easy.

Floyd-Pac will be about speed and skill, weight will be no object.

No way will it be at 140, not if Cotto fights Pac at 145. Roach has already said that he would have Pacquiao at 147 if he was to fight Mayweather. There isn't actually a huge size difference between the two though.

Oh & Mayweather & Marquez are fighting at 143lbs.

Anywhere from 140 to 147, it doesn't matter. They can both make any weight between there, definitely anything above 143 or so.

There is no reason to complain if this fights not at 147, its not a welterweight fight, its a super fight. I don't think there's a big problem with Cotto-Pac at 145 but at least there I can see the rationale behind complaining about it, but not in this case.

147 mayweather by decision mayweather just has to much talent, pac man had a hard time with cotto, that was no easy win and mayweather moves 10Xs better then cotto, it will be close but mayweather will come out with the win, people have tryed to pressue and pin him to the ropes with no luck look at the de la hoya fight and roach was in hes cornner too, am i the only one who thinks something was wrong with cottos right hand after the 4th round he never really used it and it was open the last 8 rounds and we know cotto isn't one to say anything about being hurt

I saw the fight very differently. I predicted a win for Cotto and usually pick Manny, but what I saw last night was a decent start for Cotto and after the first knock down an uncompetitive fight that Manny just dominated. I realize Cotto was able to touch Manny, but he never had him in trouble and had to resort to running in order to survive.

Mayweather has incredible defense and very good offense. Manny has an incredible offense and a very good defense.

I see Pacquiao taking Mayweather by decision.

The fight needs to be at 147. No catchweights. Pacquiao doesn't need catchweights to win.

he was hesitant to use his right cause that will leave him open for a KO.
