Default Odds are that Khan easily outclasses Salita, but how about Maidana?

This article states that the winner of the Salita/Khan fight must fight Maidana within 90 days (Khan-Salita Has Two Weeks, Maidana is Next - Boxing News_). Maidana looked like a tough hombre in his fight with Ortiz and although Khan deserves credit for winning the belt, he hasn't been in with a puncher since Prescott.

It's an exciting fight. Khan could be boxing his head off all the way through and get sparked in the last minute. I'm sure 140 pound Maidana hits harder than 135 pound Prescott too, he's going to catch Khan at some point.

Agreed, Khan is not ko'ing Maidana in any way either. Ortiz hit him with some bombs and the man got up, lots of heart. If Khan was to win that fight I would start to give him some credit, but I think he gets KO'ed inside 6

I can see Warren and Khan vacating the WBA Strap before fighting Medina.

Maidana has tons of heart, I love watching him go caveman in the ring. Khan enjoys a heavy reach and handspeed advantage, this is absolutely the worst case for Maidana. As long as Khan can keep his foot on the gas he will cruise to an easy victory.

    Khan wide UD.

Almost certainly as there's no ranked fighter in the Light-Welterweight division by that name

Honestly though, as tough as Maidana is he's vulnerable to speed. Ortiz lost by getting involved in Maidana's fight. Khan won't do that plus he's faster than Ortiz. I'm going with Killer, Khan by UD.

i think maidana get outboxed most of the fight and then ends in a sudden 1 hit KO.

    My bad lol

I dont know, I think Khan gets clocked at some stage and gets knocked out, I mean his chin is very bad imo he was staggered from a jab from prescott. Maidana I think will catch him at some stage, I cant see Warren risking it.

I too see a wide UD for Khan, don't see a whole lot of skill in Maidana's game.. if he were to catch Khan flush it would be due to Amir charging in thinking he can spark Maidana out, which is an unlikely scenario now that Roach has drummed some discipline into Khan.

EDIT: holy shiz.. didn't realise I've already posted in here.
