    Default Nfl 2009

....well I had to make some place to rant about how much Jake Delhomme sucks! 11 turnovers in 2 games, 1 being a HOME playoff game!!! The sad thing is people here in North Carolina are still supporting that motherfucker! On the radio they were saying things like "You can't put all the blame on Jake" or "Jake just had a bad game".....how about STICK TO YOUR GOD DAMNED BOJANGLES COMMERCIALS YOU BASTARD!!!

The Panthers COULD have had Byron Leftwitch, they could have had Chris Simms, they could have had any number of people as a QB, but nooooo we hedged our bets with Josh McCown

John Fox needs to get fired too, he's taken us to the Super Bowl, he's done decent things with the team BUT he's taken us as far as he can and we're so one dimensional right now it is scary, if we can't run then we lose, and if Jake Delhomme can't throw the ball to Steve Smith I think he'll have a fucking fit that's the only guy he throws to...EVER

It could be worse for you Lyle, you could be like me, and be a fan of the hapless & hopeless Cleveland Browns.

Cleveland wasn't supposed to be good this season, Carolina was...and to this point we're exceeding YOUR expectations

Well, the good news for the Vikings is that Sage Rosenfels can easily do what Brett Favre did yesterday. I actually like Rosenfels and thought he should have been the starter in Washinton over Ramsey.

The only good thing I can say about Carolina is that they aren't Detroit.

Man, I got so fuking tired of listening to the commentors kissing Farve's a$$ yesterday. It was vomit inducing.

Don't get me wrong I like Farve, and he's a great quarterback that's for sure, but it was just overkill.

Exactly, when are we ever supposed to be good?

You know how frustrating that is?

And at least you can say that you made it to the Super Bowl.

or like me a be a Buffalo Bills fan. The team hasn't made the playoffs in ten years and to be truthfully honest I dont see us doing much better this year. I know we got TO and our D shouldn't be that bad but our coach has absolutely no idea what hell he is doing, I'm usually very optimistic with my Bills but with this guy running this team I'm not.

Now don't get me wrong I hope we go in to New England tonight and spank them and then do well this season and I'm eating my words but I just don't see it happening. Hope my tune changes come mid season or.

As for Carolina I'm actually coming up to Carolina in October for the Bills/Panthers game if you guys play the way you did yesterday it might actually be a decent game. When the scheduled came out I already chaulked that game up as a loss becasue I thought you guys were going to be really good this year, still might be its only the first game of the season.

My Dolphins looked pretty inept yesterday. Atlanta has a good offense so holding them to 19 points aint that bad but we couldn't get anything going when we had possesion.

The Seahawks looked good yesterday, albeit against the Rams. TJ Housh-whatever was a great off-season pickup. I still maintain that they got robbed in the Superbowl a few years ago.

I refuse to talk about my once beloved Raiders until Al Davis drops dead.

    Brett Farve is a cunt.

Hi guys pretty new to the whole NFL scene but anything as awe inspiring and well followed as this has got to be ok.

Just wanted to ask a few question about the whole draft system you guys have merely out of curiosity..

Is every single player free to trade each season?
how do these trades occur if no compensation fees between the 2 clubs are paid?
who exactly decides the 1st draft pick?
who this season was the 1st draft pick and why?
Can a player reject a certain franchise for any reason?
    one dangerous horrible bloke

You forgot to mention Jeff Garcia as a possible pickup. I thought it was a great pick up for the Raiders, but being the Raiders they screw up and cut him.

But hey good thing you're not a Cowboys fan, can't stand them.

So the question has been answered..."Who starts when your starting QB who just signed a $20 million dollar 5 year deal and opened the season with 5 turnovers after coming off a playoff game where he turned the ball over 6 times?"

    Answer......Jake Delhomme

......I hate you John Fox, I hate you Jake Delhomme, I'd be happy if the Panthers just ran the wildcat the rest of the year! What will happen is Jake will have some better spots and Steve Smith, DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, and all the other quality players will carry Jake and Mr. Sentimental Jerry Richardson will keep Jake and give him another shot next season. The Delhomme appologists can all go to hell, I hate him, he was a decent stop gap QB, but other than that he's no different than Rodney Pete, Frank Reich, Steve Beurlien, or any of the other QB's Carolina has had bar Kerry Collins who was at least YOUNG and had potential. There were times the other day that I wondered if Jake Delhomme had ever played football before
