    Default Klitschko-Arreola Aftermath

What happens to Vitali Klitschko and Cris Arreola after their fight? Vitali got the hardest fight since his comeback and Arreola has just suffered his first loss.

Vitali Klitschko is rumored to be fighting 30 year old contender Kevin Johnson 22(9 KO)-0-1 in Germany, maybe in December. I wonder, #1 what's left for Vitali to do other than try to win the WBA belt? #2 What are Johnson's chances vs Vitali after seeing what he did to Arreola?

Cris Arreola is going to have to take time off to heal up and that may have adverse effects on his weight and his stamina and this beating may have ruined his chin as well. Who should Arreola come back against and where should he go from here? Should he aim to fight Wladimir? Should he try and climb the easier WBA ladder??

    Your thoughts?

Arreola should go for the WBA belt, hell if Ruiz and Valuev can hold it then anyone can. Although this is the type of fight that can ruin fighters, so let's see in the future if Cris can rebound from this.

And I would love to see Vitali lay out the winner of Haye/Valuev.

It's going to be very difficult for Vitali to fight the winner of Haye-Valuev, just because those guys don't have it in them to prove themselves to the fans.

I too worry about Arreola and how he rebounds...I know he has a warrior spirit, but I just hope he doesn't become a heavyweight Fernando Vargas.

Crazy fight! I mean I was not sure if Arreola was exposed, Vitali was just that good, Vitali was suffering from the early pace set by Chris, he proved that he could fight on the run and well as stop and batter his opp.....

Not sure exactly but I do know Vitali looked like a man who was in control all ni9ght and was trying out some new things....

I started to think that maybe if it was Haye in the ring last night Vitali would be in trouble because of the speed but then again looking at the fight Vitali did what he wanted against a guy who hit harder then Haye, was bigger then Haye and has a better chin then Haye and he was embaressed by arm punches

These Klitschkos are phenoms that I am beginning to believe are so good they look bad at giving out these effortless one sided wins.

The HW division may not be the strongest it can be by far but man even for these caliber opp these guys make it look too easy.

What is left for Vitali? The WBA title just to win it because I see nothing stopping him but other then that no challenges or should I say legit challenges are out there for him.

If Chris can recover mentaly from the one sided loss he will be OK and should continue right where he was before the fight, The WBA is certainly the route to follow as he has zero chance against either of the Brothers Grimm

I think you are 100% correct, the Klitschko's beat their opponents in such onesided fashion, the feat of beating someone like Arreola or Chagaev gets lost over a prolonged period of rounds.

Sure people want to see Vitali take Cris out early, but he knows the KO is well in hand as long as he keeps up the pace, so why force the KO? Forcing the KO gets you into trouble, it gives the opponent more chance to counter and more chance to turn the tide in the fight.

I thought it was strange at the end of the fight Emmanuel said something like there is really no reason for Vitali to keep fighting in response to where does he go from here. There is really no serious competition for Vitali other than his brother.

Emmanuel was also saying that if the Klitchkos ever fought it would be one of the most brutal heavyweight fights ever...not so sure about that!

Yeah I think sparring is one thing and fighting for a W is another thing. Would be one of the more dangerous fights though, both those guys can crack!

Kevin Johnson isn't ready for Vitali yet. God what is it with these heavyweights, they get to around 23 or 25 and 0 with at most one name on their record and most of the time not even that and they get a shot at the Klits?
