Froch States He Won't Fight Abraham in Germany

Yup, he was quoted saying it earlier today. The reason? Bad judging there.

"The only thing I will not do is face Abraham in Germany for political reasons.

"There has been some strange judging there and that fight will take place in Britain. "

Well... I can't blame him much for not wanting to fight in Germany. Actually, if I would get offered to fight over here, one of my ultimate request would be: one judge from Canada, one from anywhere else and no more than one from Germany at bottom line. Thus said, as many peoples seem to think that the judging was bad from Froch's last fight, I would not want to fight him in Nottingham neither and similar judging request would be made.

To be fair he would need a knock out to get a draw in Germany, but if what you guys say (I haven't seen the fight yet) Nottingham aint much better

I would love to see someone back this view up with evidence.

I used to say it too. But now reckon its probably just an old prejudice passed down through the years that doesn't really hold any weight.

But being serious how many of those Ottke "robberies" did you actually see?

It's only over the last couple of years with this internet lark that we can watch just about ANY and every fight. Fights i've SEEN in the past when rewatched i've thought different about them.

If this statement is true, it gives further validation to his delusions. If he had fought Dirrell in the US the scorecards would have been flipped and you would have a different group of people screaming robbery. Home town applies to all towns, noone is immune to this bias.

We should all hope carl froch makes enough money to never ever work again after retiring from boxing because obviously he has the brain capabilities of a 5 year old. Just freaking ironic...
