Pacquiao vs Mayweather may not happen

I have this odd feeling that Pac vs Mayweather may not happen because of PAc's decision to run as a congressman in his district and I'm beginning to be frustrated with Pac.

I really don't know why he wants to be a congressman when he already has all the money in the world. If Pac wants respect, he won't certainly get it by being a congressman as congressmen in the Philippines are seen as vultures and the most corrupt politicians in the world.

I also can't understand why Pac wants to run in the congress considering that the work in Congress is purely lawmaking. Pac hardly has any knowledge about laws and I don't see him really working in that capacity.

This is really frustrating for me as Roach had said that because of Pac's injury (against Cotto), Pac will be having a long vacation. I agree with the long vacation for Pac to fully heal because I'm thinking that he will have the most difficult and most rewarding fight against Mayweather but LONG VACATION would also mean that Pac may not fight anymore coz he will certainly win as a congressman on May 2010.

Certainly, he will not fight anymore after becoming a congressman. You can take my word for it. It's certainly not possible.

With Pac's schedule, I can't see him fighting anymore unless he postpone his desire to be a congressman.

Pac should make a decision now. Mayweather is calling him out and he should answer; of course with the condition that the split will be fair or advantageous for him (e.g. 50-50).

If Pac decides to run in the Philippine congress and decide not to fight Mayweather, I will certainly be a Pac hater for the rest of my life.

I think Pacquiao really wants to fight in March next year against guess who? - Mayweather Jr. This is with tight connection to his plan of running for a political position in the Philippines May 2010 elections.

If he wins against Mayweather in March 2010 then his popularity will rise enormously and it's highly possible that he will win in Philippines election.

If he loses, Pacquiao will retire from boxing and will declare to concentrate his efforts to help the people in the Philippines through his planned political position. He will also possibly win the election.

However, the fight with Mayweather will be historic and may catapult him to GOAT and this scenario is something that may not happen again during our lifetime.

Money aside, this fight will be considered the biggest fight in modern boxing history and that is more than getting an 8th division title.

The boxing world needs a "savior" for it to survive. Pacquaio can play that role and he should not dilly-dally.

Pacquaio will fight Mayweather next, nothing is more certain. March or April will be the month, Pacman will take 8 weeks off and commence full training mid January. 8-10 weeks full training means a late March early April fight night! I suspect the first Saturday after easter April 10th?

Who cares if not happen. Pacquiao don't need Mayweather Jr. to cement his legacy. He already did it without Floyd. Pacquiao is above Mayweather.

Pacquiao is running to make changes and to make different. Pacquiao wants to help his poor country man.
