just read that he's scheduled to fight Rogers Mtagwa on the undercard of Juanma Lopez Vs Steven Luevano
i'm actually glad to see Mtagwa get another shot, but i think he can give Gamboa plenty of probs as well

I actually see Juan Manuel Lopez vs Rogers Mtagwa. Rogers Mtagwa has got to be one of the ugliest fighters i've seen, but he's as tough as they come, and as game as they come.
He had Juan Manuel Lopez going in the last round, and i see it as a pretty close fight aswell. And Juan Manuel Lopez needed a fight like that, for us to see if he's got more than power, speed, technique ETC.
We needed to see if had the heart to get through a real tough battle, and he did so props to Juan Manuel Lopez.
As for Yuriorkis Gamboa vs Rogers Mtagwa its a good fight for Yuriorkis Gamboa, and props to him for taking it. I think he may have an easier time than Juan Manuel Lopez, just because style makes fights.
And Yurirkis Gamboa's speed style should be effective, although Rogers Mtagwa is a wild fighter and you never really know.
Mtgawa-Lopez reminded me of Cotto-Margarito. I think Gamboa dispatches of him quickly though, Mtgawa more style-suited for Gamboa but of course seemingly anyone can catch Gamboa so should be a fun little firefight while it lasts.
its gona be a good fight. gambos good but i think juanma can pull it off
Think Gamboa is a train wreck waiting to happen.Mtagwa deserves everything he gets and many of these young guys could take notes on professionalism and paying dues from him.He has some potential and unpredictable guile to suck an over confident and still green Gamboa into some taxing mistakes but Gamboa should pull it out...should.
