graet stuff again. my 2 favs for sure are the guy on a knee with the grimace of pain, and now possibly the last one. lots going on in them, but mostly in that last one...sooooo laid out.![]()
Thanks man.
That's Zach "Jungle Boy" Walters. I think the most painful part of the fight was his crushing 51 second defeat by Larry "The Razor" Sharpe. Zach announced his retirement from boxing a few days after the fight.
Here's a shot of Zach's father, clearly concerned for his son during the fight:

Nice seems like a great job to do.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I'd like to report that it's a "dream job", but that isn't the case. For me it's been more like a glorified hobby that I can't get paid for.
Last week a newspaper and a casino came to me for some shots I've taken. This paper has a circulation of 600k, and the casino is f'n huge. The paper didn't want to part with $75, and the casino apparently thought $250 for photos of a televised event was out of line. Also, a promoter I had a verbal agreement with decided he didn't want to purchase the pics I took of his event.
I wouldn't mind if I were making something, say a few sales from the events, but no, I'm usually losing money. If something doesn't turn around for me soon, I'm going to have to give the camera a rest.
Well... they're damn good shots. Easy to tell you're a professional photographer. Good luck with your dealings, so you can keep churning out the good photos.
