I didn't get the macbook that I was hoping for from the wifey. Just some sweaters, socks, ties, 1-3 seasons of Dexter dvd, regular stuff etc, and Macy's and walmart gift cards.
A bit disapointment but that's not what christmas is all about ofcourse.

I got nothing, but I don't mind as we don't really bother with christmas out here. If you haven't got kids then there isn't much point to it all. If I want something then I will buy myself something, I don't need the excuse of christmas and gifts. Maybe if I was living in the UK it would be different as I would have my family all around, but I don't so there is no need to get into the orgy of consumption.

Ok, Pacstraigth... you pretty much know what a half-century-old man receive for Christmas in the Philippines - neighborhood kids and all kinds of relative kids (and I really meant all kinds of relative 'cause we have here 2nd degree, 3rd degree cousins, and their cousins and so on) lining up at your gate waiting for an obligatory - yes babes, it's obligatory - cash gifts. But it's okay, at least I've got a vacation in return...

I got some boardshorts and a the 8th Season of Scrubs on DVD, also went halves with the old man on a set of dumbbells that you can change the weight on them by just turning a dial so that should be awesome, have to many weights rolling around the garage.
