Default Maglinaggi: Khan is ducking Maidana

Malignaggi Says Khan is Ducking Maidana, Wants Respect - Boxing News

He also says he doesn't want to fight Khan on a Golden BOy date, he felt when he fought Diaz on that date he got robbed. He also says he would fight Khan and Maidana.

If Khan doesn't fight Maidana then he is obviously ducking him. It looks a bit pathetic, but then Khan usually looks somewhat pathetic.

You have to admire Malignaggi in a way, he really would fight anybody. No way he should allow a Diaz 1 situation to ever happen again though, it just wouldn't be right.

Con is pretty much ducking any one that can punch. He has no confidence in his chin.

While I don't have much respect for his punch power, I have grown to respect Malignaggi as a person. He spoke out about the suspicions concerning Pacquiao's methods, before half of boxing was curious. Now, despite a huge paycheck for a fight with one of the few boxers that I feel he has a shot at KOing, he speaks the truth in that Khan doesn't want to fight a dangerous puncher.

Fight Maidana Khan. You'll look like a fool if you duck yet another puncher. Once you defeat the puncher (if you don't get KTFO), then you can go on to face Malignaggi.

I bet he is thinking the exact opposite. Paulie has a bigger name than Maidana especially in New York and Maidana is a riskier fight. Beat Paulie and then take on the riskier fight. I agree though Kotelnik, Salita, and now Paulie. Sense a pattern here?

Khan is ducking Maidana and if he doesnt fight him it really shows that he doesnt want to get involved with the fighters who have power at 140. I think he should fight him, it will answer a lot of questions regarding Khan's punch resistance. I will be dissapointed if Khan fights PM right now, not in the future but just right now

I'm not so sure it's the fact he doesn't want to fight punchers....

It's more to do with him not wanting to put his career on the line to beat a fighter who not many people know anything about. Certainly not the casual sports fans whom PPV's aim to appeal to.

Put the true people who know boxing IMO will know that if Khan beats Maidana would be more on an achievement than beating PM. I think Maidana because of his stlye would be more of a threat than PM.
