    Default Floyd signs

I'm sure there is still some way to bash him here, but it's signed.

That's great. Something the sport needed in a dry spell of big fights! Props to Floyd and Shane!

I have to admit I did fall into the PBF bashing a little bit. I jumped the gun when Rafael wrote that article but then realized that Rafael is notorious for bashing PBF. So I recanted my statements and now I commend PBF and also Mosley for giving us this superfight. I never try to bash a boxer unless he or she is a cheater. But I guess PBF didn't make any new fans by doing exactly what many of his haters said he wouldn't. When Mosley and Mayweather were in negotiations even Freddie Roach is on record saying Floyd would never sign to fight Mosley.

Indeed. I'll say that Floyd catches alot of flack and over the years alot from me for what things look like rather then what they are. But he signed and I have nothing bad to say. I think it will be a fun fight.... Floyd winning on points.

I just don't see how anyone could bash this fight. We've got two ATG 1st ballot hall of famers facing each other. As far as I'm concerned Mosley is still the man in the Welterweight division & this really should be for lineal legitimacy.

I'm going Mayweather by close UD.

Floyd will pecker slap shane all night. Floyd by easy UD. Good news though. Pac could have done this just as easy. Props to shane for at least stepping up and giving the fans this fight.

Ok Ill be the one to say it.

Im picking Shane by late stoppage. Specifically after a torrent of body work.

Im not one of those who fell back in love with Shane after the Margarito fight, although it thrilled me to see Tony thrashed. And thrashed he was.

All Im saying is that Shane has carried great power in both hands late in his career, still has plenty of handspeed (not like his prime, but fast enough to get to floyd), and has the patience now to see his stamina through twelve rounds.

Floyd will hit Shane, yes. He will likely outbox Shane. But he won't hurt him. And Shane is too big and strong now at 38 to not get through on occasion. I think he hurts Floyd to the body and they stop this one in ten.
