Does Manny have the best resume at welter now?

Three fights as a welter, three dominating one sided wins over De La Hoya, Cotto and now Clottey.

That seems like the best resume in the sport at that weight class right now.

People who think he doesn't deserve his WBO strap because Cotto weighed only 145 compared to the 146 he weighed against Clottey are just letting blind hate cloud their reason I think.

He has a case to be rated number 1 in the division now seeing as Mosely lost to Cotto, Margarito was a proven cheat, Floyd hasn't fought a welterweight for about 3 years and Berto is on a steady diet of B listers.

I'm actually starting to believe he could unify the welterweight division and get rid of Berto, Mosely and even Floyd.

I go with Mosley still. 2 wins over a prime Delahoya and 1 of the fights was a clear win while the other one was close and could have went either way and a dominant victory over Margarito.

Mosley, has a win over a prime DLH (the rematch was at 154) and he jumped two divisions as well to do it, difference was DLH wasn't shot or weight drained, a solid win over Collazo who's still game, destroyed Margarito, and he lost a close decision to Cotto (pre-Margarito/Mosley was past his prime as well), so IMO he's still got the best resume at 147 right now, if anything you can make the case that Cotto (although he lost to Pacquiao) has the best resume, wins over Quintana, Judah, Mosley, and Clottey, and only loss (other than Pacquiao) was against a proven cheat

Mosley didn't jump 2 weight divisions to fight De La Hoya in their 1st fight, if memory serves me right, it was his 3rd or 4th fight at welterweight when he fought De la hoya the first time, although he did skipped the 140 pound class.
