People around them are afraid to tell them the truth. Instead give them complements and just let them think they are good at it. Hosts seem to pile it on too.

Realisticly speaking he has had some great performances in the ring, performances that have semented a legacy as one of the greatest of all time. Most of his top performances were in his last few fights. It has to be between demolishing Hatton in two quick rounds, destroying ODH and sending him into retirement, or the destruction of Miguel Cotto. I would go with the Cotto fight because you can argue that oscar was washed up and Cotto was still on top of his game, and in my opinion outclassing and totally dominating one of the greatest fighters in the world today over the course of 12 one sided rounds is more inpressive than catching Hatton with a good one early.

    yeah... makes sense mate

i remember hearing a rumour before the clinton woods fight in the USA Roy jones was going to come to the UK to face him... but he was asking all sorts of stupid demands about being interviewed about his singing on the top uk shows and wanting to be on top of the pops for the deal to go through

the deal understandably fell apart for him to come to the uk and they fought in the US at a later date.

i have no idea just how true the above is but it came from a guy in the woods camp at the time.

any of you older members remember AZAR?

Not to mention Oscar's very brief reign a top the P4P list somehow allowing him to releases album after album.

Thank god, Calzaghe never made it to being p4p#1, because if his dancing is any indication, he's tone deaf & I can only imagine how bad his singing must be.
