Me, like many others have since his beating to Prescott have doubted he has the chin to take a good punch, now I'm not sure if I am being over critical of him.
I'm still not convinced that Khan is going to be the next PFP best, the fight at the weekend did little to convince me otherwise, it was pretty much exactly what we all thought was going to happen.
But to be fair to him, when he got sparked out, it was all started from the best punch Prescott has ever thrown, a punch that would have rocked most heavyweights IMO. From that punch, it was easy enough to pick him off.
So the question is, does Khan have a glass jaw? Or did Prescott hit him with a shot that would have floored anyone else in that division?
It's more his overall punch resistance. He's been hurt with temple shots, by Limond and by Craig Watson in the ams/
Neither are big punchers really. I don't think Gomez hurt him when they fought. He knocked him off balance imo but Duke McKenzie decided to go into full on 'drama mode' when he was doing the commentary.
Prescott hurt him but i'm still unsure as to whether Khan was fasting for that fight. He definitely did the year before but it mattered little because he was fighting Graham Earl and he sparked him inside 1 minute. It was that time of the year again when he fought Prescott and he didn't like right when he gave his interview in the dressing room before the fight.
Having said all that, he still gives me the impression he could be vulnerable to both pressure and a puncher. But he could also look breathtakingly good against somebody who opens up.
