Old movies? It was the 70s for christ sake. Its not as if its a Mac Sennett 3 reeler from 1928. He doesnt know what hes missing. So many great movies from that time too like 'The french connection' and 'Pelham 1 2 3' and 'chinatown'. HTH, its his loss mate. Give him a good boot in the plums and tell him to give his head a shake

Is Godfather 1/2 a prequel or something? Ive seen Godfather I, Godfather II and Godfather III only.

Godfather One and Two are in any top five all-time films along with another Coppola film Apocalypse Now. If you haven't seen them then watch them, they're breathtaking works of art. I watched The French Connection on the telly back in the early eighties and thought it was brilliant and then I watched it a year or so ago expecting to see a great film and it was a real let down. The Godfathers though, watch them if you haven't seen them.

Everydoby should watch the first 2 Godfather films. There is no excuse for any grown man not to have seen them. The 3rd one you can give or take. The second one is the best for me, very dark.
