Arrow The Ring's top 10 most exciting fighters

Just flippin through the June issue on the john and noticed this.
These are their rankings not mine.

    1. Israel Vazquez (Mexico)
    2. Manny Pacquiao (Philippines)
    3. Michael Katsidis (Australia)
    4. Miguel Cotto (Puerto Rico)
    5. Edwin Valero (Venezuala/Japan)
    6. Yuriorkis Gamboa (Cuba)
    7. Rafa Marquez (Mexico)
    8. Giovanni Segura (USA/Mexico)
    9. Paul Williams (USA)
    10. Antonio Escalante (USA/Mexico)

Next 10 not ranked, just alphabetized
    Arthur Abraham (Germany/Armenia)
    Tomasz Adamek (USA/Poland)
    Alfredo Angulo (USA/Mexico)
    Jorge Arce (Mexico)
    Vic Darchinyan (Australia/Armenia)
    Carl Froch (UK)
    Marcos Maidana (Argentina)
    Juan Manuel Marquez (Mexico)
    Shane Mosely (USA)
    Kelly Pavlik (USA)

As I said this list is obviously dated since Vazquez/Marquez IV had not happened and Valero was still alive. Just thought I would bring this up for discussion
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

To tell you the truth I don't think I would have Williams in the top ten and any of the other fighter's I would put ahead of him.

When has Williams been in a bad fight though?

Sharmba Mitchell, Darrius Mattyse, Antonio Margarito, Carlos Quintana (x2) were all quality fights worthy of re-watching any day and then of course a legit FOTY canidate with Sergio Martinez. If you match him well, he gets hit and takes risks enough to always make a fight with high drama. What's not to like about Paul Williams, he's a born fighter imo.

OK, assuming Vazquez is retiring here is my list just based solely off personal preference.

    1. Manny Pacquiao
    2. Miguel Cotto
    3. Rafael Marquez
    4. Antonio Escalante
    5. Michael Katsidis
    6. Librado Andrade
    7. Juan Manuel Marquez
    8. Timothy Bradley
    9. Yuriorkis Gamboa
    10. Robert Guerrero

Also Adamek, Margarito (if he is going to be an active boxer...), Ali Funeka, Juan Diaz (who knows if he still has it), Glen Johnson, Ji-Hoon Kim, Sakio Bika,Humberto Soto, Fernando Montiel, Koki Kameda, etc.

What I'm more offended by is Abraham's inclusion. I mean yeah fight changing power no doubt about it, it gets your blood going. But come on! When has Abraham ever been in a stirring fight until the knockout? Totally undeserved, people just assume he's exciting for some reason when he's really not.

As much as I hate him, Amir Khan should, at least, be in the ten who missed out.

I'm glad somebody else has said that. I was going to but i'm not brave enough.

He's been in some very entertaining fights, and the fights which jave ended early have been spectacular

The only fight for me that was really exciting for WIlliams was the Martinez fight. All the others where decent fight's nothing really to get you going.

I do agree with Abraham as well. I always thought he was very boring. Plod forward, hands high, and counterpunch. Same routine over and over.
