Just drumming up interest in a fight that's a bit of an anti-climax due to the Mayweather fight not happening. Nothing more, nothing less. Imo.

I agree. It'll, maybe, sell the fight and if Pac hadn't mentioned it then it would have been the elephant in the room throughout the build up.

Dunno why it would, Pacquiao is beating the guy who last seen on TV was getting destroyed by Shane Mosley, and then revealed for handwraps, and Mosley has already been beaten.

If anything this is gonna be a bigger waste of time then the Clottey fight. They will try to make Margarito's size and length a factor. And the build up to this fight has been as if they expect fans to forget Mosley wiped the floor with him.
