    Default Crisps

What crisps are the best in the world?

This might seem like a daft thread, but I am quite serious. I have experienced the great crisps such as Hula hoops barbecued flavour, McCoy's Steak or Salt and vinegar. English crisps are the best as far as I am concerned. But recently I have been forced to try these horrible American crisps. Kettle is the maker and the crisps are horrid. These things are like solid steel. You can try and nibble on one and they are just awful. The ready salted are way too hard and the barbecue flavour is equally hard but with a poor so called barcecue flavour. Rubbish really.

Crisps represent the advancement of a civilisation, obviously America is a bit behind in this regard.

I didn't know what crisps are and then I did a google search, so that's what you English call potato chips?

I guess I"m a Pringles man then when it comes to brands.

Crisps are important, but Kettle crisps are really way below par. Not a patch on English crisps. I find Pringles to be really limited too. I can eat them, but they are not like English crisps. This might be one of the only patriotic things I say in my lifetime, but English crisps are truly great. They are, such a lot of varieties, and also such a great range in taste. The best of crisps.

I quite like Kettle crisps, Sea salt and Balsamic Vineger.

If I could only ever have one type of crisp it would be T Bone Steak Roysters. The daddy of all crisps.

I know we're biased but I think British crisps (chips) are far superior to any other crisps around the world. My personal favourites are Pickled Onion Monster Munch, Spicy Tomatoe Snaps and Salt & Vinegar Walkers - I like Prawn Cocktail too. Apparently Walkers crisps sell 6 million bags in the UK every single day, that's insane

Whenever in Europe or America I always try their crisps but they don't compare to ours. I also feel the same about chocolate, well Cadbury's anyway. Cadbury's factory is 10 miles from my home and I genuinely beileve they make the best damn chocolate in the world.
