It is a possibility but I think that Showtime envision more Bute vs the top 3 emerging boxers from the Super 6. Otherwise, if something falls flat, it's a good option in the meantime.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends

I don't know, I think Bute is way too big. Style wise it's a very interesting fight, but I don't think Martinez belongs at 168 at all. Furthermore, if Bute gets a win against an S6 winner he will probably move up to Light heavy.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Yep. Bute is too big for him. But I'd put Martinez instantly on my p4p list if he beats Bute (Pavlik style azz whuppin).

Bute - SHO
Sergio - HBO
I mean it's possible but as mentioned SHO envisions Bute vs. Super 6 winner and I'm thinking the runner up/2nd place would even end up getting a shot at him after beating some randomly ranked fighter.
Sometimes I think we tend to forget just how big of a say the networks have on who the "star" fighter takes on.

No way Martinez is a SMW and i'm pretty sure he'd want none of Bute either.....
