    Default Which Horizon Documentaries Miles?

Was just thinking all my fav tv shows are finishing up for the year and might move over to something a bit more intellectual...

At the moment i'm watching a documentary regarding what physical/mental/psychological tests soldiers need to pass here in OZ to become a part of our Elite SAS... It is honestly as close to a man made hell that you could get without actually being IN war.... Literally hundreds of candidates just drop out like flies,,,, and these are really tough fit individuals that just get broken down into tears...

Anyway, if you've had any interesting ones Miles let me know.. !

    Now then Diz!

I have downloaded this file and no problems with it whatsover. Some of the documentaries are a bit old, but it beats having to sit with the wife and watch X-factor.

Big Collection of BBC\\\'s Horizon (Documentary - English) (download torrent) - TPB

And likewise if anyone has anything interesting to recommend then let's have some pointers in here. I am always on the lookout for new things to watch.

I am quite curious about 'The elephants guide to sex', but I am watching them in order so will save that one until second to last where it belongs. Master should download that one, I think he'd like it.

Bilbo, he was only asking for something interesting to watch. I don't think he was asking me to pontificate on any particular subject. Actually, I thought you might be into some of these documentary type programmes, so stop stalking me and add some documentaries yourself. I'm sure you know of some.

That is an awesome documentary about the the failed Venezuelan Coup d'etat that attempted to overthrow Hugo Chavez in 2002. An Irish film crew found themselves thrown into the middle of the goings on, trapped inside the presidential palace with Chavez for a time even!

As usual, it all really comes back to oil wealth! It is riveting stuff as you see the bizarre sight of the Venezuelan presidential guards reluctantly taking orders from their new masters, only to be then seen outside encouraging the pro-Chavez crowd to revolt and overthrow the Coup leaders. There is also a bit of hinted U.S. (C.I.A.) conspiracy in there too... Love him or hate him, Chavez is one charismatic bastard.

    Highly recommend it anyway!
