I think Gary Mason is the tougher of the two, so i'd pick him. But David Haye is more skillful, its a toss up.

Haye is world champ, Mason never was. Which means abosultely nothing. Close tough fight, haye has speed but Mason had the punch. Pick em type of fight. Which means Haye is about European level in those days.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Thats the difference in quality between the bigger men now and then.

Back then, only the very best would think about moving up. Now any fucker is doing it

Exactly back in Gary Mason's era you had.

    Razor Ruddock
    Mike Tyson
    Riddick Bowe
    Evander Holyfield
    George Foreman
    Ray Mercer
    Tommy Morrison
    Michael Moorer
    Lennox Lewis

    ETC.

And barring Tommy Morrison, i don't think David Haye would beat any of those fighters.
