Japan earthquake

Holy shit an 8.9, that is fucking huge! Hopefully they suffered very little deaths, they have some great architecture that is made to withstand quakes, but that is a huge fucking quake! Good luck Japan, stay safe. The biggest quake I've been through was the northridge quake and it was 7 something, like 7.4. My refrigerator fell over.

The tsunami footage was just sickening to watch.

I spent a month in Sendai as an exchange student. It was a beautiful city and I can only hope that the people I met are okay.

Yes, terrible news. Japan is an extremely unfortunate country in this regard. Massively prone to the most awful earthquakes.

Sad stuff, Its like watching 911 unfolding again,nothing we can do but stare in shock.
I dont mean to be a but get used to it for next 18 months we are reacting to the suns core and a strange position (fluffy cloud they've called it ) that we are heading into in the Universe.
