Possible Sequel "The Fighter"
The Academy Awards that were won in this movie may have made the budget for a sequel. We may get the Hollywood version of the Ward-Gatti Trilogy that we had hoped would be in the first one in the second one. Though, I don't really see how they could make a more dramatic fight than the original....

The best thing they could do is release the Trilogy with the DVD/BLU RAY release of the film to show just how much of a warrior both Ward and Gatti were! That would be a great bonus feature!Yeh I agree.

I have a feeling that if they made a sequel they would rely too heavily on the fights with Gatti and neglect the relationship between Dickie and Micky......just a hunch
