    Default April 9th PPV Card

Eric Morales headlining a PPV card!!! Seriously?!?
Yes he is! And to be honest, I think I might pay for it($5 at the sportsbar). This looks to be a good fight card . . .
Erik Morales vs. Marcos Maidana (junior welterweight)
Robert Guerrero vs. Michael Katsidis (lightweight)
James Kirkland vs. Nobuhiro Ishida (middleweight)

I wanna see the outcome and the futures of the winners.
How do you see these fights ending?

It's a great card. And, to make things even better, Sky Sports are showing it live for 'free'. Looking forward to it.

The negative of this card is that all the outcomes are predictable.

    Maidana over Morales
    Guerrero over Kastidis
    Kirkland over ______

At least on paper, none of the fights seem evenly matched.

I fancy Katsidis over Guerrero, personally.

Love that. I'll be rooting for him too. Do you know what the odds are?

If I'm not mistaken, isn't Winky Wright on the card as well?

Is it really free on Sky and yet they will charge for Khan fight?

Good card, glad Sky have got involved.

I can see Katsidis winning that one. It's gonna take a lot to beat him.

I don't think it will. Katsidis is pretty much a punching bag to the elite fighters. He's token a lot of punishment in his career. He's coming off a fight that except for like 20 seconds was pretty much one-sided. Kenny Bayless did him a huge favor stopping it when he did. Cuz Marquez was pretty much landing all his power shots flush. There's a good chance Katsidis is done. Guerrero I think is a bad styles match up for him. If Katsidis can't hurt him it will be a long night for him. I see him getting cut to shreds and stopped in the middle rounds

I agree. I like Kastidis and he's been getting some big money fights recently so good for him, but he has the wrong trajectory here. Not that I'm super high on Guerrero, I believe he will be beat by a lot of the top fighters, but Kastidis isn't a top level guy.
