Mayweather is a fucking joke, we know the first round of negotiations like what 2 years ago?? Pac didnt want the drug test, he has since agreed about a million times, stop living in the past and sign for the fight you shithouse or just retire.

Does anyone give a fuck what he has to say? Even if I could be bothered to read it and it was cast iron proof that Manny was entirely at fault for them not fighting yet, I just couldnt give a shit.

Floyd will comeback in the condition that Sweet Pea did after his long layoff. He will just continue blowing money, not pay his taxes, until he is broke and the IRS comes after him.

I just don't understand what needs to happen for them to agree to a fight. I was so embarrassed for boxing this morning when I listened to NPR. They spoke about how sad it is that the two best boxers can't make it into the ring together. When, it tennis, football and other sports the best play the best multiple times a year. I guess this golden age of welterweights will be overshadowed by a missed opportunity to tune the world in on what I see as a 55/45 fight. A fight for the greatest ring tactician and the best boxer meeting to put an end to a lot of controversy. Truly as much of stylistic clash as could every be presented in a ring.

Also, SSM is such a bitch for not fighting back. I want my money back... Even more than I did after watching Floyd and Baldomir. If it wasn't for the Arce/Vasquez fight, I don't know if I would ever want to watch another fight again.

This fight will never happen, and we will be left wondering what could have been.

I can't believe this but you said something that I agree with.

I watched the Floyd-Chico fight for the first time in several years last night and it saddened me. THAT Floyd was nothing short of magnificent. He fought smartly and with passion and skill and he had taken a daring fight. THAT guy had a chance to be one of the 10 most accomplished fighters who ever graced the sport in my estimation. Instead? He spent a decade fighting too little and too often not the optimal guys.

The saddest words remain what might have been.

Now this is freaky because I looked at this fight last night in bits and pieces. I remember the fight well enough though and thought to myself the same thing you probably did...."Where is this Floyd at now?" And what bothers me more is the fact that if this fight would have taken place when it was originally suppose to Floyd would not have been as much of an underdog vs Pac as he was vs Corrales. People forget that Corrales was quite the favorite in that fight due to the size advantages. And the longer Floyd waits and sits around being inactive the worst it is for him.
If you think you can......you can, if you think you can't .......you're right!
