Says all you need to know about the uselessness and bs concerning "trinkets" Annnnd NEW Bare knuckle champion (after 122 yrs)
do we really need this ?
I saw that. Absolutely ridicilious and disgraceful to call Bobby Gunn the new bare knuckle champion in the same vain as John L. Sullivan.
Gunn is no doubt a tough guy and a decent boxer, but he beat a guy who was 14-9 coming off 4 or 5 straight losses.
If these two had boxed no one would have cared, so instead they took off the gloves and suddenly its a circus.

Its not real bareknuckle though with those netted wraps so Sullivan remains that last true bareknuckle champ winning a 76 or 77 round fight depending on ones sources with Jake Kilrain. After that, Marquis of Queensberry kicked in.
