Thats my gripe with them. On Dispatches last night, it was reported one of the 'travellers' had been offered a 4 bed house in basildon, they turned it down cos it's against their culture How the fuck does that work considering they have been on that site for 10 bloody years

Yes exactly. The very fact they want to stay proves they no longer belong to this weird little cultural identity/race and so should have to abide by the law like everybody else.

I don't see why these travelers should have extra rights that the other don't have, let along, why would they deserve to be GIVEN a house? You're travelers? Then travel, now you're static and it's quite and it's bothering everybody.

Sounds crazy but this is why I say peace is overrated. The world is a big place. Big enough for everyone. We shouldn't let a little language barrier get in the way. I'm sure every country has a way of life to suit someone... If you want to live a nomadic life, fuck off to Mongolia...
