Apologies if I'm a bit late on the uptake with this but I've just heard that this fight is gonna be on Box Nation - something to do with our favourite Frank Warren..... Is this a PPV channel?? Not heard much else - although I was thinking it weird yesterday when I couldn't find you was showing it. FW press conference around midday today I think.......

I changed from Sky to Virgin a bit back and I let the Premier sports sub go because they don't have the channel. I hope Virgin do get it and although I hate paying for Boxing I am something of a hypocrite because I always do pay for it and I know if it wasn't for people like me paying these prices they wouldn't be able to charge them but I love the sport and I hate missing as much as I do without missing stuff I don't NEED to.

I'm exactly the same mate - HATE paying for fights up and above channels I get and always say I won't....then hear and read the hype and I'm on the phone booking the bloody thing! Apparently there's an article on it in the new Boxing News.... being a BM fan I haven't read it.......

Talksport are covering this this morning and just heard YES it will be on Virgin!!!! Free to view!!!! Venues including York Hall etc..... Hopefully I've badmouthed FW too soon.... Let's see..... FW on Talksport tomoz as well...watch this space....

That is brilliant news. Surely if they make it free they can guarantee viewers which will make advertisement slots more expensive!! Make some other sod pay for it I say!

Just read Boxing News and it basically says it launches later this week and it's first live bout will be Liam Walsh and Paul Appleby on the 30th September. It says that it will start out as a free channel but will change to a £10 a month subscription towards the end of the year.

Deffo worth it on the site it says 10 quid a month but I thought it is free at first?

The first month looks great lets hope it carrys on like this.

It says on the site though Gavin v Purdy for the 147 British Title but at the press confrence it said Gavin is fighting the WBO number 4 ranked fighter not Purdy??

Sadly, having read the press release, I am going to have to join too. I've just sent my cancellation email to Premier Sports as I can't see what they are going to show anymore: So I'm only £2 a month extra on the hole.
