Given the amount of problems this tournament has encountered I guess it's only fitting that the final couldn't go off without a hitch. I was really looking forward to this, hopefully it can be re-scheduled quickly.

That's what they're talking about. If the cut is bad, he's going to take a fight in between - like Ward did with Bika. Matchroom is saying that they want it to be a big fight in the UK.

According to boxingscene it was a middleweight named Brandon Gonzalez, and they were wearing head gear with the shield across the face. They had a moment of in-fighting and when they pulled back Ward had a cut, they don't know if it was a headbutt, punch or something else though.
Horrible luck...I reckon it'll be a nasty fight when it does happen though.
