    Default are face shots allowed in amateur boxing?

    use to box for a few years but parents took me out, and im going to get back into it, but never competed because they didnt let
    going to get into boxing again and im going to compete regardless if they are or not

    If you don't learn defense and movement you will quickly find the answer to that question when you get in the ring.

    absolutely not.. keep your hands down at all times during sparring..





    no but seriously ofcourse theyre allowed where else are you gonna hit somebody? going to the body is more dangerous than going to the head, i feel. one of my trainers got hit in the gut and his bowel ruptured or some shit, atleast to the head you just get ko'd
