    Default some ringside scoring

    from ringtv.com

Lem Satterfield, Ringtv.com: 117-111, Juan Manuel Marquez

Ron Borges, Boston Herald: 117-112, Marquez

Chris Mannix, Sports Illustrated: 116-112, Marquez

Tim Smith, New York Daily News: 116-112, Marquez

    Ryan Maquinana, BoxingScene.com/CSNBAREA.com: 116-113, Marquez

    Mike Coppinger, RingTV.com: 115-113, Marquez

Bill Dwyre, Los Angeles Times: 115-113, Marquez

Norm Frauenheim, Boxing News - 24/7 - MMA News - UFC 115-113, Marquez

Lance Pugmire, Los Angeles Times: 115-113, Marquez

Bob Velin, USA Today: 115-113, Marquez

George Willis, New York Post: 115-113, Marquez

Jerry Izenberg, Philadelphia Inquirer: 115-114, Marquez

Sean Sullivan, Boxing Digest: 115-114, Manny Pacquiao

Steve Carp, Las Vegas Review-Journal: 114-114

    Tim Dahlberg, Associated Press: 114-114

    Bryan Graham, Sports Illustrated: 114-114

    Kevin Iole, Yahoo!Sports: 114-114

    Kieran Mulvaney, ESPN.com/Reuters: 114-114

    Dan Rafael, ESPN.com: 114-114

    Rick Reeno, BoxingScene.com: 114-114

    Looks like:
    Marquez-12
    Pacquiao-1
    Draw-7

so 60% Marquez win, 5%-Pac win, 35% Draw
This isn't all the ringside scoring, as it is what ring magazine was able to get.

The writers are in alignment with the views of the forum posters. Only a few diehards and a couple of corrupt judges have Manny ahead. Anyone else with eyes and sense saw a Marquez win.

    Lederman (ex-judge) and the official judges: 3 for Pac and 1 draw;

Boxing writers and the general public seem to be somewhat in line.

Aside from being a GBP publication, I can't see any bis here.

no offense but how would bias be a problem? It is a list of the scores of boxing writers ringside, and 90% of them on the list aren't from Ring.

what does the Ring being owned by GBP have to do with anything? Marquez is no longer a GBP fighter...if anything they still get paychecks from Manny's fights

The list obviously didn't include all ringside press, just those they could get the scores from. There are others who probably had Pac winning.

Dougie Fisher of ring-had it a draw
Steve Kim of Maxboxing had Marquez 115-113. There are alot of others. I just think even this small sample seems to show that the ringside press scored a draw or for Marquez a reasonably high % of the time.

I don't think the previous fights between the 2 had this much of the opinion of the ringside press going that much towards one fighter (Marquez). I think the other two fights it was much more even.
