What are your memories of this fight and how many of you thought Juarez deserved the decision?

It's been a long time since i seen that fight but i remember thinking what a good close fight it was.

I think i scored it a draw.

Ah Rocky... I had great hope for him after that fight.. I thought it was close but I had barrera by like a round or 2 cant remember that well.

Im not going to cry robbery but I thought it was a horrible decision and majority of the fans at the time felt the same.


Barrera didnt have to give him a rematch but he fought him immediately 4 months later so that tells me he wasnt confident with the victory. He knew he lost and wanted to set things straight.

I thought Barerra edged a close fight, but I think most close fights deserve a rematch and so that's what Barrera gave him. Barrera underestimated his man, but dug deep. Second time out it was 'let's beat the man with a jab'. Dull fight, but easy win.

I agree Barrera underestimated him the first time out and fought down to his level.
