And, from what I hear, he looked like shit in that fight. What these dingbats don't get, and this is why modern fighters suck, is this: Boxing is a cerebral activity. It doesn't matter how big or how muscular you may be...if you are ring-stupid you'll get beat up.

Yeah you can add muscle, stamina, recovery abilities but if you are shit at fighting you will still be shit at fighting. Wont add to the skills.

Getting sick of it, has there ever been a time when so many high profile fighters have tested positive in such a short space of time?

He did look like shit, but in fairness Tarver is not really ring stupid, which his opponent Kayode certainly was. It doesn't say what he actually tested positive for, but with the way he fought it just seemed he lacked energy and couldn't pull the trigger unless the guy was begging him to. I would guess testosterone or EPO, something like that will be the culprit here. And if that was the best he can produce even with drugs, stick a fork in him.

Epo has nothing to do with energy. Just red blood cell count.

Yeah and what do red blood cells do?

Ill tell you... They carry oxygen around the body and what do we use oxygen as? Energy!

The more oxygen fighters on epo can get around their body, the harder they can work and for longer. Check Mosley against De La Hoya (at least, probably lots more of his fights) in the rematch.

    Fuck sakes.... Basic stuff

Normally they'd probably interview Kayode and get his reaction to Tarver testing positive.
But after Kayode blew a gasket on Jim Grey following the fight... I don't think anyone's gonna want to get anywhere near him.

I wonder if Showtime will fire him? That would really suck for Tarver, I really liked him as a commentator.
    The key is Self-discipline.

Imagine testing hot for that performance? Perhaps he should have tried the opposite and ingested a few downers.

I think he might be calling the Ortiz fight. Wonder if he has the balls to bring it up.

Jones tests positive and he still calls fights from time to time. I think as a point of morality he should not be allowed to have his job back until he makes a public apology.

Yeah but I think Roy's excuse actually checked out so the pub;ic image hit wasn't as severe

With all these positive test results lately, it does make Pacquiao look even more suspect for not taking them and even asking what the penalty would be if found taking them!
