    Default Pacquiao-Marquez 4

Yay we get to see them fight a fourth time . This one will be just like the last 3, Marquez will not get the decision again and there will be more controversy.

Man, this is lame. Let me guess: two completely evenly-matched fighters fight to a controversial decision that reasonable people could score either way. Several posts are started here claiming that the result was a "robbery." Days of pointless argument ensues.

Pacquiao-Marquez 8 is going to be so much better.

I think it is strange that so many people think that fighters so evenly matched that decisions can end in controversy is a bad thing. I'll take a close and controversial bout over a shutout waste of money any time.time

Seriously, who really wants to see this fight again?

    I sure as hell don't.

You are so right and what a waste of their dwindling time left for the ring. I just can not generate an ounce of interest in this fight.

I love chess matches as much as the next guy but time to turn the page. Both are near end of career and more to offer elsewhere I'd say. I respect both, first two were fun, third was alot of fine countering but alot of waiting around. Familiarity can breed contempt but it can also be quite predictable and ooze 'been there, done that'. Even Balboa and Apollo knew enough to do a finale after hours when the lights went dim in an empty gym.

Even if Marquez stops Manny people will say that Pacquiao was shot and the victory will be hollow. If JMM suddenly looks old and gets stopped himself the same excuse will be rolled out.

I've no issue with it, the previous 3 fights were great. Why not do it again? Who else is Manny going to fight? Cotto? Pfft.

Marquez is Manny's biggest challenge, I love seeing him challenged, and so I like fight.

Cotto at 154 is obviously a bigger challenge.

As is the fight whose name we shall not speak.

I agree with Spicoli that the action-level of these fights has progressively decreased such that the last one was actually kind of boring.

If I was Manny I would not take this fight, if he is guaranteed a purse from Arum, whoever he fights then I would take the easier option of Bradley. JMM will win this fight because everyone thinks he at least deserved one of the decsisons in their other fights and so will get the sympathy vote like Lewis did against Holyfield in the rematch and Barrera did against Morales in their second fight.

Roach is saying they are 4 rounds behind already, so unless Manny knocks out JMM, he will lose a decision.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Since leaving top rank has floyd ever fought a top rank fighter?
As long as bobs around can anyone see it happening?
As for timothey bradley he was fighting at 50% due to injury in the pac fight but his puching power is paulie level so he never harmed pac.
