    Default The crux of modern capitalism

    How do you call capitalism that doesn't want cashflow for the entire population?

    Bingo! You call it hereditary dictatorship.

    Thoughts?

    ps: for all the dummies, this is no thread pro marxism.

    They are all the same,whoever is in power, the leaders of any party or regime want their blood line to take the reins or prosper the most.

    "Let them eat cake.". although thats a false declaration and was never said by one of the highest French royals in Catherine, King Louis wife;
    It does capture the flavor of what you are expressing quite well and how oblivious to the real suffering of the public (who couldnt afford bread) all leaders can be,whatever they pretend to our faces. So they cut their heads off which is a grand idea head of state...off it comes.

    PS, I designed the whole post around finally being able to use that smiley .

    I wouldn't ever define capitalism as a system that wants cash flow for all so I think the premise of the statement is incorrect. Capitalism isn't about want or fairness and it is also important to make a distinction between capitalism and a free market. You can have capitalism with varying degrees of a free market but you can't have a truly free market w/o capitalism.

    I don't think it matters what it means. I think you can concern yourself with these earthly designs or you can just stop trying to change them. This system won't change and that is when you need to turn to the self and ask if you are willing to stick it and endure.

    As you said Catherine never said this but forget what economic system we live in just do the best you can with what you have in the amount of time you are given to look after yourself and your loved ones.
